Do you charge per unit or is there a flat monthly rate?
Our HOA contracts are flat monthly rates based on community size and the acreage of common areas, not a per-unit fee — so your invoice is the same amount every month regardless of how many units or residents are in the community. Are you licensed and insured, and what about liability?
ScoopSquad is fully licensed to operate in Colorado and carries general liability insurance for commercial pet-waste work, so your HOA is never exposed. We provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs) on request — most boards ask us to send one before the next meeting so the paperwork is already in hand when the vote comes up. Can we cancel if the service isn't working out?
Yes. Every HOA contract starts with a 60-day initial term and then rolls to month-to-month with no exit fee and no annual lock-in. Cancellation after the initial term requires only 30 days written notice — most property managers cancel with a quick email or text to our direct line, no exit fees, no hassle. Questions on terms? How often will you service our common areas?
Frequency is set in the written scope during the free site assessment: small communities typically receive weekly visits, mid-size communities get 2–3 visits per week, and large communities can be scheduled up to daily.
